Steve is a graduate of Lamar High School 1797, with a four year apprenticeship at TCJC. He served as COO at Gainesville Glass Company, Inc. and is co-owner of Hip Pocket. He has no prior public service, and was elected to the Board in 2026.

Paula is a registered nurse with 50 years of experience in clinical nursing, nursing leadership and education. She began her nursing career at Nocona General Hospital. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University, and holds a certification as an Advanced Hurse Executive. She is a Fellow in the Amerian Organization for Nursing Leadership, and has been a member of the Nocona Hospital Board since 2020.
Clint Brown
Clint is a retired Special Agent of the FBI, where he served for 30 years before coming to Montague County. He is a former officer and member of the Montague County Child Welfare Board, and also currently serves on the board of the Pentex Charitable Foundation
SHAWN PATTon
Shawn holds an Associate of Science degree in nursing, and is a Registered Nurse. He is affiliated with Stain Joseph's Catholic Church. He has no prior public service, and was elected to the Board in 2026.
Hobie Meekins
Hobie is a lifelong resident of Nocona and has worked in the banking industry for over thirty years. He currently is the Regional Banking Associate Manager and Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, NA - Nocona Branch office. He has served on several community boards, including the Nocona Hospital District, and the Montague County Tax Appraisal District, and is currently a board member of the NEDC.
Jack Martin
Jack was the founder of Public Strategies Inc, one of the most successful corporate advisory firms in the world. He previously served on the boards of Baylor, Scott & White Health, Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
